Field	Details
Instance URL	Platform URL.
Authentication	Varies by platform: API key, OAuth, or session-based.
Scope	Dashboards, saved questions/reports, or all content.

All are SaaS or self-hosted. SaaS: HTTPS, no VPN. Self-hosted: standard networking.

Metabase (self-hosted): Default port 3000. Ensure API is reachable.

Metabase: Session-based auth (username + password → session token) or API key (Metabase 0.49+). Create dedicated service account.

Mode: API token + secret from Mode account settings.

Sigma: API token from Sigma admin portal.

ThoughtSpot: Trusted auth token or basic auth with service account.

All platforms: Create a dedicated read-only service account.
